  1. Text chat with Max: someone asks how to say no to drugs at a party, and Max suggests keeping it short and asks a follow-up question

    2,000+ live users

    Hey Max AI

Max is an AI chatbot that gives straight, honest answers about drugs. I manage two other 17-year-old students who help train Max using TeamSquared. I look after the data we gather and use it to make Max better.

    Robotics chat agent

When I joined robotics, a lot of our experienced seniors were about to graduate and leave a gap for new students to fill. So I built an AI that uses Pi to learn about the robotics team and keep improving itself. It helps to onboard new robotics members and assist experienced ones.

    Personal AGI

The best way to do something isn't the same for everyone. This will be an AI agent that learns from how you work: it logs what you do on your computer, turns it into skill files, and lets AI agents do tasks the way you would. Your data stays on your device, encrypted, and is only shared if you choose, never collected or sold. It will be fully open source.

Teaching

I didn't want my app skills to be owned by just me. So I partnered with StreetCode Academy to teach other people how to build apps.

Teaching at StreetCode felt great. It wasn't about me making software anymore. I could teach people to do the same thing I was doing.

StreetCode Academy's partnership with Replit made coding easy, and let students branch out and find what they liked about AI and AI agents.

“Charlie combines real technical knowledge with patience, creativity, and a deep belief that tech should be for everyone. We’re so grateful to have Charlie as an instructor at StreetCode, and we can’t wait to see him continue to flourish.”

Entrepreneurship

Making businesses is a direct way to help other people. I want to make products that can leave a lasting impact.

With my sister, I co-founded Artists for Nature, a marketplace that sells artwork to raise awareness about the environment and fund nonprofits like Mission Blue. I helped to code Authors for Nature, a platform that teaches young adults how to publish books to help the environment.

Engineering

I enjoy seeing how things work. With precision equipment, I can turn a simple sketch into something real.

On the LGHS robotics team, I've learned a lot about manufacturing and machining. Being an engineer means thinking hard about what works and why. What will other people think of? Why is my solution better? And can I turn my idea into something physical?
